In America, the laws change daily – laws that impact our lives, our holdings, our businesses and our futures. That’s why having a strong corporate attorney as an ally is important to your bottom line.
At Rona M. Lum, P.C., we believe our client’s interests are best served by looking beyond the legal issues of incorporation filings, contracts, and immigration. It goes beyond interpreting the law and applying it to a particular situation. We act as an extension of our client’s business, providing counsel and guidance that often times is only indirectly related to the law.
We love the challenge of working with businesses of all sizes, helping entrepreneurs structure their businesses, keeping established companies on solid legal ground, and assisting international companies with their immigration policies, procedures and visas.
Our principal, Rona M. Lum, has been in practice since 1993, focused on corporate and Immigration law. She was a Featured Speaker on the subject of U.S. Immigration Law and Special Registration at the Center for International Legal Studies (CILS) in Valle Nevado, Chile (August 2002), a Featured Speaker on the subject of Intracompany Transferees and Multinational Executives/Managers at the June 2003 CILS conference in Salzburg, Austria, and was a Moderator for a panel of legal experts on the subject of “National Perspectives of Investment and Doing Business” at the April 2005 CILS conference in Whistler, British Columbia. She earned a B.B.A. from the University of Hawaii, and her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law.
